I would say that none of them thought too much about their gender except for really Neil. And he just decided to be cisgender with some added flavor basically, especially once he started taking estrogen to get the body he wanted.

Daray and Adder identify as cis but only because they haven't really put thought or questioned their gender. I actually think Adder is the one out of the two to potentially change, subtract, or add onto his gender if he actually took time to analyze himself.

As for sexuality, that is where they stray from the norm lol. Adder is definitely into men, but I think he is also into women. Honestly, I see him as having the same sexuality close to Purl, where basically they are willing to sleep with anyone regardless of gender as long as they are of age and consenting (even if they are not single). Neither really defines their sexuality with a label, they just know what they like and go for it.

For Daray, I see him as aroace, or at least somewhere on those spectrums. Maybe he is just asexual, maybe he is just aromantic, maybe he is grey- in one or both of them. I don't know exactly, but he is definitely not looking to date at all or really ever. I think he did try dating, either in highschool or in his early 20s, and it did not end well at all for him. So he just doesn't date and thankfully found out he was some kind of aroace (though he hasn't really taken on any of the labels because he doesn't want to out himself)

And Neil.... I actually don't have any ideas for him! At least in who he likes. I can see him as having high standards for who HE dates (couldn't give a shit about what sleazebags Adder is bringing home) that doesn't really involve the other person's sexuality or gender identity. The high standards really bite him in the ass though because it makes it harder to find someone to really connect with, but it also stops him from getting into less ideal relationships.

So yeah! They all identify as cisgender with some added flavor, and all identify as heterosexual even if their actions say otherwise.

The question was first posed to John deep within the comment section of an old video. He barely saw it and simply brushed it aside as nothing. Then it popped up in a Twitter Q&A session. He played it off as a joke, trying to pretend like the words didn’t rattle his very core. Another person dropped it during a stream, more often it popped up, and John was trying his hardest to pretend he wasn’t losing hours over a four word question.

What is your sexuality?

It was confusing, and every time he dived into the internet to figure it out it confused him more. So many labels with so many meanings that often overlapped. Bi and Pan and Omnisexual sounded the same to him. He wasn’t sure if the A in LBGTQIA stood for Ally, Asexual, Aromantic, Agender, Abrosexual or a fuck ton more. He had no clue what the I was supposed to mean, and sometimes confused the G for graysexual and not Gay. Plus there was the P’s and D’s and so many other letters under the spectrum. It hurt his head.

People saw it too. It was easy to hide it in videos; he could simply edit out the parts that didn’t sound natural or right. But when it came to the streams, it was much harder to hide beneath a fake smile and chipper attitude for hours at a time live. They poked and prodded, but not a word was uttered as to why John was down. And sometimes he could forget his worries, but all it took was one of his 700k+ fans to innocently slip for this spiral of thought to completely derail him.

The eventual breakdown came after a rather short stream. He was reading out chat during the end of a stream when the question popped up, albeit phrased in a different way. He hesitated, before shrugging it off.

“Does KryozGaming is Gay?” He read, before wiggling his eyebrows in a mischievous way. “I don’t know, am I? You guys tell me ... or some shit like that.” He hit a vape, trying to make the cloud big enough to hide the tears welling in his eyes. “Hold on, I might nic out here. And ... we’re good. Okay.”

Few more minutes and he ended the stream, collapsing on his bed promptly after. John stared at the ceiling as the existential-ness of his situation began to sink in. He blinked. His phone rang. He picked it up without so much at a glance.

“Why am I staring at an ear?” John muttered an apology and held the phone out to see Toby’s face looking down at him with concern. He smiled, but both men knew that it was fake. “Why are you pretending to be okay?”

“You know, if it was anyone else calling me I’d lie straight to their face.” Toby laughed as John sat up against the headrest, pulling the former closer to him. “But it’s you and it’s not worth it.”

“Was it the gay thing?”

“You watch my streams?”

“Never miss a single one.” John cracked a smile, a genuine smile, at the often silent gesture. “But seriously, was it the gay thing? I saw you hesitate a little.”

John nodded. “It’s just ... what are you, Toby?”

“I’m JohnOnTheRadio.” He stated, and John starred at him like the biggest idiot on the planet. “Oh .. you mean ..?”

“Sexuality, Yeah.” John laughed, and Toby slapped himself for his oblivious answer. He paused, taking a minute to formulate an answer.

“I’m JohnOnTheRadio.” Toby repeated, before elaborating in response to John’s confused looks. “I don’t ... like to define myself by a label. I want to date who I want to. I don’t care if people are annoyed that I don’t want to fit into their cookie cutter organization of sexuality. I don’t limit my myself just because people pressure me to define myself. I’m ... Me-sexual.”

“Is that an actual thing?”

“No. It’s something I made up just now.” They both laughed. John relaxed a little and sank more into the bed. Toby beamed as John’s more genuine expressions. “Feel better?”

“Yeah. Thanks.” There were a few moments of silence before John spoke again. “I think I know what I am.”

“What are you?”

“I’m You-sexual.”

“You smooth motherfucker.” Toby laughed, his blue eyes seeming to sparkle to John in the light. That or it could just be his dirty ass phone.

“Can you believe I made that up too?” John giggled, and Toby shook his head as more laughter escaped. “What do you think?”

“You know ... I think I just me be You-sexual too.”

“Thank fuck.”
